Hot Rods by Jimmy Shine
Todd Haas' '57 Chevy after being used as a push car at Bonneville for his '34 Ecotec roadster .
Some disassembly was required
Since Jimmy's chop saw accident, things now take twice as long - you understand why.
Here's the '57 up on the deck plate gettin' gutted to become a gasser.
Here Jimmy mocked up of some 10-spoke E.T. wheels and a dropped '32 axel
From firewall forward, there is a new tubular chassis with 1 3/4' crossmembers.

*Note the un-dropped '32 axel
Here's the 1961 Edelbrock X-1 manifold with 1956 Holley 94's carbs built by John at C&J Automotive in Whittier, CA.
Shine designed and built progressive 6-carb linkage, utilizing military style bell crank bearings .
There will be more images coming soon as the completion of the car nears.
