The 'Shine' Ardun Roadster |
The logo on the valve covers of this 1932 Ford hiboy roadster says it all. The Ardun overhead valve flathead conversion cylinder heads have been sought after by hot rodders for the last half century. This hot rod features all steel construction on a SO-CAL step boxed ™ chassis. The Adrun power is distributed by a Tremec 5-speed transmission and final drive through a quick change rear end. The headers and exhaust are all hand crafted, smoothed and polished. In fact there is not a piece of metal be it aluminum, stainless or steel on the car that has not been massaged, rounded, polished or chrome plated. Attention to detail is the key on a project such as this as nothing can be left to chance. “Shine” and the SO-CAL crew are to be congratulated on their collective achievement, also the car was featured on the Discovery Channel special; “The Great Hot Rod Build Off”. |
